You’re probably here because you need just a little more information before reserving your spot in our lounge—a place filled with dreams, good giggles, and valuable insights into our wedding photography experience. Below, we’ve answered some popular questions to help you feel more confident about meeting with Crystal Horton; owner and photographer.

What is the Love & Laugh Lounge?

The Love & Laugh Lounge is where love bursts at the seams, creativity flows freely, and laughter is a constant companion. Realistically, it’s a cozy and relaxed setting where we’ll talk about your wedding photography desires and ideas, and we’ll share the logistical details of working with Crystal Horton Photography.

Expos can be fast-paced and overwhelming—you barely get a chance to absorb what’s offered or dream about your perfect wedding photos. That’s where the Love & Laugh Lounge comes in. Here, we slow down, sip on something tasty, and focus on you.

What Happens During the Chat/Consultation?

Once you select a time on our calendar, the experience begins! Here’s what to expect:

  • A Warm Welcome: Enjoy a complimentary treat as we settle in.
  • Your Love Story: Share what makes your relationship unique and special—this helps us capture your essence in your photos.
  • Learn About Us: We’ll explain what you can expect from our photography services, including what’s included, pricing details, and how we help your wedding day run smoothly.
  • Get Your Questions Answered: From packages to timelines, we’re here to provide all the clarity you need.

How Long is the Chat/Consultation?

You set the pace! Crystal blocks out 1 hour for every consultation but reserves up to 2 hours in case we dive deep into fun stories or creative ideas.

How Do I Know If My Wedding Date Is Available?

Typically our system will send out an apology email that we are booked and offer up highly recommended options. If you won a raffle, we do our best to remove unavailable dates from the raffle. However, availability is subject to change. It’s always best to schedule your consultation as soon as possible to secure your date.

Can Someone Book My Date Before Me?

Yes, unfortunately. We have a strict “First Retained, First Reserved” policy, meaning the first couple to pay a retainer locks in their date. We cannot hold dates without a retainer.

If your wedding date is reserved before your visit to our lounge, we will politely cancel your appointment, and send quality referral photographers.

What If I Can’t Make Any of the Available Time Slots on the Calendar?

No problem! Send us a quick text, and we’ll work to accommodate your schedule. Crystal prioritizes both her family and her clients, so we’ll do our best to make it work.
